Background: Like fellow pilot Erisi Dlarit, Bror Jace hails from the humid, bacta-producing planet of Thyferra. Unlike Erisi, Jace is of the Zaltin Corporation, one of the two rival bacta companies on the planet. Jace joined Rogue Squadron under Wedge Antilles and quickly shot his way to the top. Arrogant and seemingly stuck with an infallible superiority complex, Jace made up for his attitude by becoming one of the best pilots Rogue Squadron had ever seen. Buy trouble on his home world drew him away from the Rogues. While travelling back to Thyferra on pretense of visiting his dying patriarch, he sabotaged his X-Wing and slipped away to join the Ashern, a group of rebels who wanted to join the New Republic. While his former squadron-mates were left under the impression that Bror had died, the pilot was actually setting a chain of events in motion that would eventually lead to the liberation of Thyferra. After its liberation, Bror Jace declined to rejoin the Rogues and formed the Thyferran Aerospace Defense Force.
