Background: As a youth, Face Loran was one of the most famous holodrama stars ever. The boy actor played the lead in many Imperial propaganda holodramas, including one where, after trying in vain to persuade his parents of the good of the Emperor's New Order, he is shot in the back and falls into the Emperor's arms. But all changed when a group of ex-Alliance extremists kidnapped him. They planned to execute him as a lesson, but first gave him the quick and dirty truth about the Empire. When Imperial commandos came to rescue him, Face escaped the crossfire, picking up a facial scar that he opted to keep to remind him of his compliance with the Empire. Face eventually joined the New Republic and joined Wraith Squadron. He flew and fought many missions with the Wraiths, using his skills at acting and disguise to help his squadron-mates during dangerous undercover missions. His ingenuity and ability to command earned him the rank of Captain. When Wraith Squadron was decommissioned as a fighter unit, Face went along with them and now works for New Republic Intelligence.
