Background: Unlike most denizens of the galaxy, Lujayne Forge lived on Kessel by choice. Her father, Kassar Forge, volunteered to go to Kessel during the rule of the Old Republic and worked there teaching inmates how to rejoin society upon their release. He met her mother, Myda, and decided to stay on Kessel and raise a family. After many years, Lujayne made her family proud by leaving Kessel and joining Rogue Squadron as a pilot. She was sometimes considered the soul of Rogue Squadron, working hard to bring the other pilots in the squadron together. She made the first breach in pilot Corran Horn's emotional barrier. Unfortunately, Lujayne was killed in her sleep during an Imperial raid of the squadron's base on Talasea, but the lesson in camaraderie she taught her squad-mates still survives.
