Special Abilities:
Head tails: Twi'leks can use their head tails to communicate in secret with each other, even if in a room full of others. The complex movement of the tails, or lekku, is a secret language that all Twi'leks are fluent in.

Background: Nawara Ven worked for many years as a defense lawyer in the Imperial courts on Ryloth, trying (often in vain) to keep political prisoners out of Kessel. Eventually he joined the New Republic and was admitted into Rogue Squadron. Nawara's skills as a lawyer came in handy when, shortly after the conquest of Coruscant, Rogue Squadron's Executive Officer, Tycho Celchu, was charged with treason and the murder of fellow pilot Corran Horn. Tycho was finally acquitted, thanks to miraculous circumstances and Nawara's hard work. Nawara flew several more missions with Rogue Squadron before he lost his leg in an engagement with Ysanne Isard's forces at Thyferra. While the replacement limb was not good enough for him to continue flying, he became Rogue Squadron's Executive Officer and serves with them to this day.
