Background: His parents killed when pirates sabotaged their fueling station, a young Wedge Antilles turned to a life outside of the law. He worked with notorious Booster Terrik and his daughter, Mirax, before starting to smuggle goods for the Rebel Alliance. Eventually he joined the Alliance as an X-Wing pilot. He fought at the battles of Yavin, Hoth, Endor and Bakura and became commander of the elite Rogue Squadron. Turning down several promotions to stay in a cockpit of an X-Wing, Wedge helped to take the Imperial capital city of Coruscant. Later he participated in the Bacta War, then formed a group of misfit pilot/commandos called Wraith Squadron. With Wraith and Rogue Squadrons, Wedge helped weaken the power of Warlord Zsinj. Wedge has continued to fight for the New Republic as one of the greatest starfighter pilots in the known galaxy.
