Background: His parents killed when pirates sabotaged their fueling station, a young Wedge Antilles turned to a life outside of the law. He worked with notorious Booster Terrik and his daughter, Mirax, before starting to smuggle goods for the Rebel Alliance. Eventually he joined the Alliance as an X-Wing pilot. He fought alongside Luke Skywalker at the Battle of Yavin, shooting down a TIE fighter that was lining up to vape the younger pilot. At Hoth he flew a snowspeeder with gunner Wes Janson, taking down the oncoming AT-ATs in order to cover the Alliance evacuation of the planet. At Endor Wedge, in command of Red Squadron, flew into the second Death Star and helped General Calrissian fire the shot that ultimately destroyed the Imperial battle station. With Luke's retirement from the New Republic Armed Forces, Wedge took over command of Rogue Squadron.
